Custom Copper Under Mount Workstation Sinks as well as Copper Trough Sinks

Under mount sinks with rear corner drains just make sense! In fact, I lead the industry with the first true workstation sink design well over a decade ago. I recently make a drastic improvement. I believe my NexGen™ design is the finest engineered sink in the world. Up until now, workstation sinks had a "step" that held up the accessories. My new innovative design removes the step and the sink width remains the same at the bottom as the top. This innovation gives the user an extra inch of front to back space in the sink with this option. My design gives 34 square inches of additional space inside a 36" sink. One of the best benefits of this design is that the perforated grid, that sits on the ledge, can now be placed on the bottom in the same orientation. Simply put one end toward the bottom and the other end will bypass the ledge. Now you can wash pots and pans on one side and set off on the grid on the other. You can also place your colander on the grid (in the bottom position) when pouring out pasta and not worry about "backwash". In the top position, use it for rinsing food, thawing food and as a prep counter adjacent to your cutting board. Also in the top position it will be a great place to set your washed and rinsed delicate stemware. No more towel on the counter and fogged up glasses that must be hand dried!

The HOAX that has been perpetrated on the public for 20 years.

This is what you should consider when a company makes purity claims on the copper they use. If the company of origin is Mexico, India, China, Turkey, etc., how the heck do they come up with purity percentages? It is inherent in all recycled copper that the purity level changes from batch to batch. Some companies show scrap copper pipes, etc. being melted down. Do you really think those companies really have independent testing of the copper? One such company claims the copper is 100% pure copper. Think about it for a minute. If they are going to make those outrageous claims, have them prove it. Have them email you independent certifications papers on the most recent batch. I have been watching these claims go unchallenged for almost two decades. I can show you independent certification of every shipment of copper I receive and am glad to send you a copy if requested. So what can commonly be found in recycled copper if it is not purified properly? Lead, Mercury and Arsenic.

If you are interested in purchasing domestic copper, ask for proof in writing showing the certification papers from the supplier.

Copper under mount sink showing right rear drain. The right rear drain is key to the value of our sinks. You can wash on the right and set off to dry on the left. You can place large cookie sheets , platters and even your refrigerator shelves flat down inside the bowl without covering the drain. Best yet, in most cases you can put a double rollout trash mechanism behind the left door!

Our sinks leave here with a great deal of attention to detail and quality. When you invest in a custom sink by Rachiele, every aspect is designed to wow you! In this photo, you can clearly see the funnel shape of the bottom of our sinks. The drain is quite a bit lower than any other portion of the bottom of the sink. We have another trick for quick draining, just ask us!

As a former professional kitchen designer, one of the first design features I thought of was putting full size double trash rollouts behind the sink cabinet door. This is a huge benefit in many designs that can be done due to our shallower sinks and offset drain locations.

Not everyone has our workstation sink designs in their budget. That being said, our standard copper sinks are far superior to the imports. No need to dry after "every" use, no worries about sharp objects, etc. Use our sinks like a sink and enjoy for generations.

This is a gorgeous Signature Series Workstation Trough sink with an interior step to place a cutting board or a copper grid. This sink featured a very steep sloped interior to the drain as specified by the architect. This sink is a party waiting to happen! The faucet is a matching weathered copper patina by Waterstone.

As of 2021, we are 22 years old. We have been able to eliminate our advertising budget back in 2008 due to all of the referrals and repeat business. Even though we have lead the industry with design inventions like the workstation sink, we have remained a very small company by design.

They have been using their sink for several months and love the 8" depth and the ability for two adults to work at the sink. FYI, this photo is roughtly 20 years old!
